The Raptors 905 is searching for an experienced, energetic, and passionate individual to be partof our Coaching team.In this role, you will provide support and assistance to the Raptors 905 coaching team as well as assisting with team practices and player development sessions. You will provide valuable insights into players' development and team/player scouting, helping the Raptors 905 succeed on and off the court.

Contact Length: September 4th, 2025 - April 30th, 2026

Position Type: Part-time

  • Participate in team practices and player development sessions.
  • Assist with game strategies.
  • Ensure players, equipment, and facilities are well-prepared and organized.
  • Participate in projects as assigned by the Front Office & Coaching Staff.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, maintain confidentiality, and take pride in the organization, its people, and the role.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of coaching and or playing experience in the G-league, NCAA basketball, or similar international experience is required.
  • Working understanding and awareness of the NBA, Gatorade League, Raptors 905, and Toronto Raptors.
  • Expertise in understanding of NBA Gatorade League Manual ensuring compliance with all rules, policies, and deadlines.
  • Experience with Sportscode, Synergy, and Fastscout is preferred.
  • Understanding of the Mississauga/GTA region is an sset.
  • Sports Management or related Business degree is preferred.
  • Excellent administrative skills and proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communicator, attention to detail, and ability to think quickly & act with urgency.
  • A creative self-starter, driven by results and alert to change.
  • Proven to perform well under pressure; manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • On-call availability with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Please note this position will have a maximum of 30 hours per week with a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
