Job description

The Mission
AtScale is the semantic layer for modern data and AI. We bridge the gap between complex cloud data platforms, like Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery, and the business users and AI agents that need consistent, governed, AI-ready analytics. We are looking for a Senior Platform Product Manager to own the infrastructure that powers both our internal Experience teams and the external developers, partners, and customers building on top of AtScale.
The Impact You'll Make
In this role, you will:
  • Own the Shared Platform: Set the product strategy and roadmap for the infrastructure AtScale's internal Experience teams (BI, AI, and agentic analytics) build on-compute engines, MCP servers, and core services-balancing individual team speed against long-term platform health.
  • Define the Developer Surface: Own the roadmap for AtScale's external APIs and SDKs, treating developers and partners as customers with their own onboarding, documentation, versioning, and support needs.
  • Lead AI-Facing Infrastructure: Drive AtScale's strategy for MCP servers and other interfaces that let external agents and applications reason over governed semantic context.
  • Grow the Ecosystem: Lead integration and marketplace strategy across cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure, and others, including packaging and certification requirements for their emerging app and agent marketplaces.

Why You'll Love It Here
  • Ownership & Autonomy: You'll own the platform contract between AtScale's product teams and the outside world, with real latitude to set the strategy and make the calls.
  • Innovation-First: Work at the intersection of AI, data, and open semantic standards at a company defining what an emerging category looks like.
  • Culture of Trust: Enjoy a flexible, remote-friendly environment with in-person team hubs, built on transparency, technical rigor, and professional growth.

Who You Are
  • You have 6+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years focused on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products (APIs, SDKs, or PaaS/data platform ecosystems).
  • You've defined and shipped APIs or SDKs used by external developers or partners, and know what good developer experience, versioning, and documentation look like.
  • You understand modern data platform architecture, data warehouses, LakeHouses, cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift, and how partner ecosystems and marketplaces work on top of them.
  • You're familiar with AI agent architectures and emerging protocols like MCP for connecting agents and applications to governed data and context.
  • You're comfortable balancing competing internal and external demands on a shared platform, with the judgment to say no when it protects the roadmap.
  • You bring strong technical fluency-comfortable in detailed conversations with engineers about system design, APIs, and infrastructure trade-offs-along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Perks
  • Competitive salary + equity.
  • Comprehensive health benefits and flexible PTO.
  • The chance to define the platform strategy for a category-defining leader in AI-ready analytics.
