Position Overview

The Operations Manager serves as the operational leader of the office, partnering closely with firm ownership to ensure the business runs smoothly while maintaining an exceptional experience for both clients and employees.

This individual provides day-to-day leadership to the administrative and client service team, establishes priorities, removes obstacles, improves workflows, and promotes accountability across the organization.

Because collaboration and accessibility are important to the firm's culture, this is a highly visible, on-site leadership position.


Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm.

  • Maintain efficient workflows across client service, administration, and internal operations.

  • Evaluate, improve, and document business processes to increase consistency and efficiency.

  • Coordinate operational activities with custodians, vendors, and other business partners.

  • Support implementation of technology, systems, and operational improvements.

Team Leadership
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and support to administrative and client service team members.

  • Establish priorities and help balance workloads.

  • Be an accessible resource for employees by answering questions, resolving issues, and removing operational roadblocks throughout the day.

  • Foster accountability while promoting a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

  • Conduct regular follow-up to ensure projects and responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.

Business Operations
  • Partner with firm leadership on operational initiatives and process improvements.

  • Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and client service.

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing firm projects.

  • Help ensure adherence to operational policies and industry procedures.

Client Experience
  • Champion the firm's commitment to exceptional client service.

QualificationsRequired
  • Five or more years of operations experience within wealth management or financial services.

  • Previous experience leading or supervising employees.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

Preferred
  • Experience working within an RIA, broker-dealer, or financial advisory firm.

  • FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 66 or equivalent) are a plus.

  • Experience with wealth management technology platforms and CRM systems.


Work Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Avon, Ohio.

The Operations Manager is an active leader within the office and plays an important role in supporting employees, coordinating workflow, addressing operational needs, and helping maintain a productive and collaborative work environment.

Regular office hours are 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
