Job Description

The Platform Architect is the primary internal-facing architect, responsible for the technical integrity, scalability, and reliability of the core platform infrastructure itself. Own the platform's technical roadmap, focusing on non-functional requirements such as performance, high availability, and disaster recovery. Lead the design and evolution of the platform's cloud infrastructure, containerization strategy (e.g., Kubernetes), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and core platform services. The Platform Architect ensures that the underlying foundation of the platform is robust, efficient, and capable of supporting the diverse and growing number of solutions being built upon it.

Must have:

  • 10 years experience in architecture or platforms
  • 5 years of experience in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc) 
  • Expert knowledge in cloud and platform architecture for enterprise IT systems
  • Demonstrated experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient platforms, implementing infrastructure best practices, and integrating emerging technologies and services
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Nice to have:

  • AWS or Azure certification

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
