Valiant Solutions is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team!
As a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer, you will work together as a team to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains.

Location: Onsite in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret
Degree and Years of Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Certifications Required: Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.
Required Experience
  • 5-8 years Developer experience.

Desired Experience
  • Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Python, Shell scripting, Git.
  • Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
  • CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins.

  • Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps.
  • Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
  • Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
  • Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
  • Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
  • Compiles detailed documentation.
