What does a platform development manager do?

A Platform Development Manager oversees the design, development, and maintenance of technology platforms within an organization. They coordinate teams of engineers and developers, manage project timelines, and ensure the platform meets business objectives and user needs. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to set technical direction, integrating new technologies, and maintaining platform scalability and security. Additionally, Platform Development Managers often play a key part in troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring the platform supports company growth.

How does a platform development manager typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform enhancements?

A Platform Development Manager works closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, UX/UI design, and quality assurance to ensure that platform enhancements align with business goals and user needs.
