L'equipe de comptabilite des fonds remplit des fonctions essentielles pour garantirl'exactitude de la comptabilite.Les principales responsabilites de l'equipe sont d'examiner et d'approuver lesNAV (Net Asset Value)des administrateurs externes, d'examiner et de traiter les factures, de gerer le processus d'audit. De plus, l'equipe doit entretenir de bonnes relations avec de nombreux prestataires de services afin de garantirl'obtention d'informations exactes en temps voulu.Les membres de l'equipe sont egalement impliques dans la realisation de divers projets etdoivent participer au developpement et a la revision des outils internes d'Innocap.

La comptable senior, fonds d'investissement, assure les fonctions suivantes :

• Reviser les calculs de valeur nette d'inventaire (NAV), les frais de gestion et de rendement ainsi que les ratios de depenses pour une variete de produits d'investissement alternatifs ;

• Soutenir les activites quotidiennes des fonds du point de vue de l'equipe de comptabilite ;

• Agir a titre de personne-ressource pour les demandes complexes ou escaladees provenant des clients, des gestionnaires d'investissement, des administrateurs et des contreparties ;

• Participer aux communications et aux projets avec les partenaires internes et externes et collaborer a la mise en place de nouveaux fonds ;

• Reviser les politiques d'evaluation et collaborer avec le comite d'evaluation d'Innocap ainsi qu'avec les administrateurs de fonds ;

• Participer a l'audit des fonds, notamment en gerant les echeanciers, en participant aux appels, en coordonnant les activites avec les partenaires internes et externes et en revisant les projets d'etats financiers selon les normes US GAAP ;

• Reviser la documentation des fonds, notamment les conventions de gestion et les conventions de societe en commandite, et fournir des commentaires a cet egard ;

• Coordonner avec les administrateurs des fonds la mise en place des fonds et le calcul des frais lors de la redaction de la documentation des fonds, et assurer un suivi regulier des ententes de niveau de service ;

• Preparer, reviser regulierement et assurer le suivi des budgets des fonds ;

• Collaborer a l'amelioration des processus et de la documentation et effectuer toute autre tache connexe qui lui est confiee.

PROFIL RECHERCHE

• Diplome universitaire en comptabilite ou combinaison equivalente de formation et d'experience ;

• Niveau d'experience souhaite : intermediaire (minimum de 4 a 5 ans d'experience) ;

• Solide connaissance de divers instruments financiers et de leur evaluation ;

• Experience des fonds speculatifs comportant differentes structures d'investissement et differents types d'instruments ;

• Excellente connaissance des normes de presentation de l'information financiere US GAAP ;

• Connaissance de divers documents juridiques tels que les notices d'offre et les conventions de societe en commandite ;

• Maitrise avancee de Microsoft 365, en particulier Excel et SharePoint ;

• Esprit analytique, souci du detail et du controle, debrouillardise et capacite demontree a demeurer organisee et a gerer efficacement son travail dans le respect des echeanciers ;

• Excellentes habiletes de communication orale et ecrite, avec la capacite de transmettre efficacement l'information aux parties prenantes internes et externes ;

• Qualites demontrees de leadership ainsi qu'une approche proactive, positive et adaptable au travail.

SENIOR FUNDACCOUNTANT

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Platform Accounting team performs critical functions to ensure accounting accuracy for the funds. The team's core responsibilities are then to review and approve the fund administrators' net asset valuation (NAV), review, and process invoices, manage the audit process, and foster relationships with many service providers to ensure timely and accurate information. Team members are also involved in performing project work and are expected to actively participate in the development, testing and review of Innocap' s proprietary tools.

The Senior Fund Accountant, Platform Accounting, is responsible for the following functions:

• Review NAV calculations, management/incentive fees and expense ratios for a variety of alternative investments products.

• Support daily activities of the funds from the accounting team's perspective.

• Act as point person for escalated queries from clients, investment managers, administrators, and counterparties.

• Participate in communication and project work with internal and external partners and collaborate on fund onboarding.

• Review valuation policies and engage with Innocap's valuation committee and fund administrators.

• Participate in fund audit, including management of timelines, participating on calls, coordination with external and internal partners and review of US GAAP financial statement drafts.

• Review and provide feedback on fund documentation such as management agreements and partnership agreements.

• Coordinate fund set-up with the fund's administrator on the calculation of fees during the drafting of fund documents and frequently monitor service level agreements.

• Prepare and regularly review and monitor fund budgets.

• Collaborate on process improvement and documentation and perform other activities as assigned.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Desired seniority level: midlevel (minimum 4-5 years of experience).

• Strong knowledge of various financial instruments and their valuation.

• Experience with hedge funds with different investment structures and instrument types.

• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards.

• Knowledge of various legal documents such as Offering Memorandums and Partnership Agreements.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel and SharePoint.

• Analytical, detail- and control-oriented, resourceful with proven ability to stay organized and manage work in a timely manner.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,with the ability to articulate information to internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities along with a proactive, positive, and adaptable approach to work.
