Pay: $42/hr to $46/hr

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Start Date: 05/18/2026
  • End Date: 08/15/2026
  • Shift: 8-Hour Days | Monday – Friday (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
  • On-Call: Not required
  • Weekends/Holidays: Not required

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for a high-volume outpatient surgery center specializing in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining sterile environments and supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields, instruments, and equipment
  • Assist surgeons during plastic and reconstructive procedures
  • Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure smooth workflow in the OR
  • Handle and sterilize surgical instruments according to protocol
  • Collaborate with Pre-Op, OR, PACU, and ERU teams
  • Document procedures using Cerner EMR system
  • Follow all infection control and patient safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience within specialty
  • Active AHA BLS certification (required)
  • Experience with Cerner EMR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
  • AHA ACLS certification
  • Experience in plastic, reconstructive, or cosmetic surgery

Facility Overview:
This outpatient surgery center is staffed with a multidisciplinary team including Pre-Op RN, OR RN, PACU RN, ERU RN, Surgical Techs, Support Techs, Secretary, and an Operations Coordinator. The facility also offers overnight Extended Recovery Unit (ERU) capabilities.
