Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Parts’ Builder is responsible for assembling a variety of kits, including shower kits, and executing installation tasks using various materials. This role demands versatility, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. The Builder ensures that tools and machinery are operated safely, remain functional, and are well-maintained.

DUTIES: (include but not limited to)

  1. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Ensure quality standards for products are followed
  • Read blueprints
  • Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
  • Inspect and test materials and equipment
  • Use necessary quality tools and equipment to measure products
  • Use power tools and equipment
  • Cut plastic piping
  • Bend/fit piping
  • Assemble product
  1. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  2. Develop methods, tools, and processes to measure, understand, and improve core processes and perform these activities in alignment with company values.
  3. Participate on project teams as needed
  4. Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Qualifications

  1. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    1.  Proficient in reading and using a tape measure.
    2. Skilled in handling power tools, hand tools, and basic construction equipment.
    3. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and installation manuals.
    4. Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
    5. Effective communication and customer service skills.
    6. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

  1. General warehouse environment.
  2. Low noise level.
  3. Prolonged sitting and repetitive motion due to extended computer use.
  4. Occasional exposure to production, distribution area working conditions, including noise, and dust exposure and lift truck traffic. 
  5. Stress related to conflicting priorities and meeting schedule deadlines. 
  1. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Ability to see, and speak, hear, write, and understand English.
  2. Sustained attention to detail.
  3. Ability to read and analyze data and other written information.
  4. Minimal physical exertion.

WORKING HOURS:  7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday with additional hours as necessary to meet production demand
