Packer/ Inspector for Plastic Injection Molding Facility
HQC Inc - Oswego, IL

Starting Pay $19.50 Hourly
3rd Shift: 10:45PM to 7:15AM- $19.50hr
HQC Incorporated Profile:
HQC is a plastic injection molding company in business for 38 years and in Oswego for 29 years. We operate a clean modern air-conditioned facility making parts for food packaging, medical devices, and personal care products. We provide high quality high reliability services to our customers. HQC Operates 24/7. Your schedule may require you to work weekdays, Saturday, and/or Sunday as needed. You will not be required to work every weekend. We have a strict dress code, PPE and other policies that must be followed due to making products for Food, Medical, Personal Care products.

• 40 hours PTO (paid time off) after 90 days, additional time off will follow

Job Overview:
The Quality Technician/ Inspector Packer (QT) reports to the Shift Supervisor and/ or Assistant
• HQC has a training program for our QT’s to ensure you have the skills necessary to succeed.
• HQC operates 20+ injection molding machines, and many secondary operations including ultrasonic welding, and assembly.
• You will learn how to perform your duties from start to finish daily
• You will learn to run other workstations during your training period
• Main duties include inspecting the parts for defects or contamination and packing the product into boxes or totes
• Ensure customers get quality parts every time
• No physical limitations as this position requires standing, walking and lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Previous packing and warehouse experience is helpful, but not required
• Attention to detail
• It is important to be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, as much as possible. All postings, booklets, videos, and tests are in English
• This is a full-time position.
