Are you passionate about quality excellence in plastic molding manufacturing? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in South Bend, IN. As a key player, you’ll ensure that our products meet the highest standards, delighting our customers and driving our success.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest quality standards in plastic molding manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Conduct OQ/PQ assessments to validate equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities at all levels, from initial submission to final approval.
  • Serve as an ISO-certified internal auditor, continuously improving quality management systems.
  • Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and View Finder for precise measurements and inspections.
  • Design and execute experiments (DOE) to optimize production processes and minimize defects.
  • Sample products according to customer requirements, maintaining rigorous quality standards.
  • Proficiently use MS Excel and MS Word for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across departments to drive quality improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, addressing their quality concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a quality engineer or senior technician in an injection molding environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CMM and View Finder for precise measurements and inspections.
  • Expertise in completing PPAP requirements at all levels.
