Job description

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician – Injection & Blow Molding in the plastics industry in Greer, SC!


Salary: $32–$40/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Location: On-site – Greer, SC


Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on injection molding and blow molding machines

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime

• Support equipment reliability and process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency

• Assist with equipment startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures per company and machine requirements

• Develop and document maintenance procedures to optimize equipment performance

• Perform maintenance on auxiliary equipment including conveyors, dryers, and chiller systems

• Support mold changes, mold cleaning, and routine machine maintenance activities

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation throughout the shift

• Assist with cross-training technicians on routine maintenance tasks


Education Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Technical school or vocational training in injection molding, blow molding, or industrial maintenance preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining injection molding and blow molding equipment


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience with blow molding equipment repair and maintenance

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills

• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and basic machine shop practices

• Experience with machine installation, maintenance, and repair

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Basic math and computer skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

• Ability to operate material handling equipment and obtain forklift certification within 60 days

• Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
