Job description

Openwork is currently assisting a local client in Greer SC in their search to for a Process Technician for plastic injection molding job. As a Process Technician you will be responsible for operating plastic injection mold machines, while also keeping the flow of production at maximum level of efficiency as well as troubleshooting and handling production process malfunctions, etc. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Responsibilities for this Process Technician job include:
- Operate plastic injection machines (mold setting, color changes, process trouble shooting, etc)
- Operate forklift
-Diagnose and troubleshoot molding and production related machinery, diagnose malfunctions and perform changeovers and tooling swaps
- Follow safety regulations and join in on production meetings
- Quality control of what the team is producing
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a process tech
- Forklift experience
- Mechanically savvy and understand how to troubleshoot issues
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Positive attitude
Work Schedule: 2nd shift
- 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Rate: $21-25/hr depending on experience
