What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop, establish, and optimize injection molding processes for automotive components
• Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality and manufacturing efficiency
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements
• Maintain and control process documentation, parameter settings, and engineering changes
• Train operators and technicians on molding processes, standards, and best practices
• Lead and support continuous improvement activities focused on reducing scrap and improving cycle times
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements across all molding operations
What We're Looking For:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding processes, preferably within the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of injection molding equipment, tooling, and plastic materials
• Proven experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, and problem-solving
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process documentation, and specifications
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and quality management systems
Bonus Points If You Have:
• Experience in automotive injection molding operations
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects
• Knowledge of scientific molding techniques
• Experience supporting new product launches and process validations
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and automotive quality requirements
