Job Summary - North Phoenix - $20.00+ - 3rd Shift
The Set-Up Technician supports production by installing and removing molds on injection molding machines. This role involves preparing machines, assisting process technicians, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining equipment and records. No prior experience is required, but some training or experience in plastic injection molding is helpful.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and remove molds on injection molding machines safely using tools, cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • Assist process technicians with machine operation and production runs.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, clean work areas, and organize tools.
  • Document processes and help maintain production records.
  • Help with machine troubleshooting and support secondary operations as needed.
  • Prepare work areas for production runs (moving mats, tables, and auxiliary equipment).

Qualifications
  • Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Able to lift 1-50 lbs and safely operate equipment like forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
  • Prefer 2+ years of experience in injection molding, but on-the-job training provided.
  • Basic computer skills to access training and records.
  • Forklift certification a plus.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced, physically active environment with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
