Job description

Chaska, MN $24-$27 per hour Full-Time, 7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri, OT as needed

What You'll Do:
  • Cut, shape, drill, bend, and finish plastic materials (acrylic and similar plastics)
  • Assemble and bond components into finished retail display units using plastic cementing and gluing techniques
  • Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and finish meet design standards
  • Operate shop equipment including table saws, edgers, jointers, router tables, and heat benders
  • Handle, identify, kit, and package plastic materials and finished products
  • Guide and support other assemblers to ensure production requirements are met
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What You'll Need:
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a fabrication or manufacturing setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fabrication issues
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required

Working Environment:
  • Manufacturing/shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals
  • Required use of safety gear such as safety glasses and hearing protection
  • Repetitive, hands-on production work
