Account Executive, Card Plastics
What does a successful Account Executive, Card Plastics do at Fiserv?
As a successful Account Executive, Card Plastics, you will own and grow a portfolio of existing clients within an assigned territory. You will build trusted relationships, understand each client's business priorities, and proactively prospect across assigned accounts to uncover, develop, and close new plastics, personalization, and digital opportunities. This role is centered on client retention, relationship expansion, and increasing Fiserv's share of wallet.
What you will do:
  • Own and manage relationships across an assigned portfolio of existing clients and serve as a trusted advisor for their card plastics, personalization, and digital needs
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans that prioritize high-potential clients, retention risks, key decision-makers, and growth opportunities
  • Prospect within assigned client accounts to identify unmet needs, new buying centers, and opportunities to expand Fiserv's products and services
  • Build strong relationships with C-suite, operational leaders, and day-to-day client contacts to understand business goals, card strategies, inventory needs, and buying cycles
  • Use client data, order history, inventory trends, market insights, and competitive intelligence to create targeted upsell, cross-sell and conversion opportunities
  • Lead the sales process from discovery through proposal, pricing, negotiation, and close while ensuring a positive client experience
  • Drive growth through new card programs, product upgrades, card redesigns, material changes, contactless adoption, personalization services, and other value-added solutions
  • Partner with Relationship Managers, service, product, operations, inside sales, and other internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions and resolve barriers to growth
  • Support client retention by proactively addressing business needs, coordinating contract renewals, and escalating risks when appropriate
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecast revenue, document client activity, and update opportunities and next steps in CRM
  • Meet or exceed growth, renewal, pipeline, activity, and client engagement goals for the assigned territory

What you will need to have:
  • 5+ years of successful sales, account management, or client relationship experience in the payments or financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue within existing accounts through consultative selling, prospecting, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Experience developing relationships and effectively communicating with client stakeholders at all levels, including executive management
  • Ability to manage a territory, prioritize a portfolio of accounts, and advance multiple opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or military service

What would be great to have:
  • Experience managing and growing a portfolio of existing card plastics, payments, or financial services clients
  • Familiarity with Fiserv issuer and Output Solutions offerings
  • Knowledge of card manufacturing, personalization, inventory planning, contactless migration, and related industry trends
  • Experience collaborating across relationship management, product, service, operations, and sales support teams
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and track account activity

Important information about this role:
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Salary Range:
$54,500.00-$85,250.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
