Senior Service Engineer

We are market leaders in developing and building downstream equipment for automation in the plastic bottle blow molding industry.

The US branch serves the US and Canadian market and for this purpose we are looking for a motivated engineer to help grow the company in the US. He will work in a small team to create custom solutions for customer specific needs. The job will be customer oriented and project driven, thus demanding both flexibility and communication skills.

Major tasks and responsibilities
  • At our facility in Atlanta
    1. Prepare machines for factory acceptance
    2. Prepare machines for shipping 
    3. Assembly and set up of automation lines
    4. Test running machines 
    5. Remote support on machines in the field
    6. Provide phone/e-mail support to customers all over the US
    7. Provide feedback to the R&D department
    8. Composing support manuals and step-by-step procedures
  • On site at customers
    1. Onsite support
    2. Installation of equipment
    3. Provide machine training for customers
    4. Maintenance on machines in the field
Qualifications and profile
  • Good knowledge and understanding of automation and electrical engineering
  • Good software skills (MS Office,…);  experience with Autocad is an advantage
