Job description

Job Duties • Take direct orders from operator. • Help operator in set up of machine(s) if needed. • Load machine at a steady pace – no gaps. • Pack parts as needed. • During down time help arrange/stack parts. • Cleaning of shop during down time. • If not needed see supervisor for next assignment. Other Responsibilities • When stacking product always keep the plastic bag with the label that has the customer, part number, and reference number on it. • Each skid has its own plastic bag. Do not mix parts or bags from skid to skid even when they look to be identical. • If you see product on the floor do not touch it and inform your operator. • If you drop product on the floor, verify with you operator on how to proceed. • Never touch controls on the grinder unless told to do so by your operator. • No hoodies allowed, strings/cords potential safety risk. • No cell phones during work. • Gloves will be provided depending on job. Physical Requirements This position is repetitive and may be fast or slow paced during the day. Requiring dexterity, standing, bending, twisting for long periods of time throughout the day. Must be able to lift 30lbs. on occasion.
