What Gallegos is Looking For...

The Outside Sales Associate will work with customers to ensure a smooth sales process. They should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professionalism. They will develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers.

Duties & Responsibilities...

  • Support current and potential customers by providing expert product knowledge and general customer assistance.
  • Generate new customer leads through inbound, lead follow-up and outbound cold calls.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with various client audiences.
  • Travels 50% of the time.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of Gallegos products using presentations and promotions in order to close sales.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and all necessary departments.
  • Maintain all databases.
  • Supply management with reports and feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Correctly and thoroughly input customer data and reports to reflect current sales interactions.
  • Answering questions to overcome resistance and objections, quoting prices, negotiating with customers and closing the sale.
  • Models The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
  • Valid Colorado Drivers license at the time of hire.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, cost accounting and inventory systems.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the English Language to communicate with other crew members, customers, etc. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
