Effective communication with other trades and maintaining a clean, organized workspace help minimize delays and ensure a high-quality finish. What does a plasterer do?

A plasterer is a skilled tradesperson who applies plaster to walls and ceilings to create a smooth or decorative finish. They prepare surfaces, mix plastering materials, and use specialized tools to apply and shape the plaster. Plasterers work on new buildings as well as restoration projects, repairing or renovating older surfaces. Their work is essential for both the appearance and durability of interior and exterior structures.

Do plasterers make good money?

Plasterers typically earn a median annual wage that is above the national average for construction trades, with earnings increasing with experience and specialization. Skilled plasterers who work on commercial or high-end residential projects, or who run their own businesses, can earn higher incomes.
