Job description

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech Language Pathologist in Plantation, FL. Provide assessment and treatment for adult and geriatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders in an acute care hospital setting. The team uses fluoroscopic MBS studies and Meditech documentation. Candidates should expect a full caseload and to work independently to deliver high-quality patient care.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license. Provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Experience performing and interpreting MBS/fluoroscopy studies.
  • Experience with adult/geriatric acute care populations, including post-extubation swallow evaluations, stroke-related swallowing protocols, and dysphagia treatment.
  • Proficiency with Meditech or comparable acute care documentation systems.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior acute care hospital SLP experience with limited on-site training required.
  • Comfort functioning independently and managing a typical caseload of approximately 10–12 patients.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
  • Work pattern: Days.
  • No on-call or night requirements.
  • Department includes approximately five SLP staff; collaborative team environment.
