the job:
amika is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager, Professional Marketing to build and execute best-in-class programs across our fast-growing Pro channel. Reporting to the Director of Professional Marketing, this role plays a critical part in bringing the Pro strategy to life - leading in-salon marketing, stylist programming, distributor initiatives, and professional content that elevate how amika shows up for stylists and partners.
This person will work in close partnership with Sales, Education, Creative, Social, Product Marketing, and will collaborate deeply with the Director of Stylist Relations to ensure cohesive storytelling and strong pro-to-pro community engagement.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is energized by the professional stylist world, thrives in cross-functional leadership, and can translate strategy into high-impact programs.
salary: $110,000 - $125,000 + bonus
location: hybrid (must be based in nyc + have the right to work in the US)
what you'll do:
Bring the Pro Strategy to Life
  • Execute and operationalize the Pro Marketing strategy developed by the Director of Professional Marketing.
  • Lead the development of professional marketing programs, ensuring all initiatives align with brand standards and business objectives.

In-Salon Marketing & Professional Programs
  • Drive in-salon program development, sampling strategy, chairside tools, merchandising needs, and stylist-facing assets.
  • Lead professional campaign execution, including briefs, messaging, content needs, and toolkit creation.

Stylist Community, Partnerships & Content
  • Partner with the Director of Stylist Relations to support stylist programming, community engagement, events, and pro-to-pro storytelling.
  • Lead the creation of professional content in collaboration with stylists, educators, and Artistic partners.

Distributor Marketing & Execution
  • Support distributor growth through targeted marketing initiatives, B2B tools, co-op programs, trade shows, and sell-through support.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team on execution of distributor-aligned marketing priorities.

Insights, Analytics & Performance Tracking
  • Own reporting for stylist engagement, program performance, content impact, and market insights.
  • Use data to optimize ongoing initiatives and inform recommendations to the Director of Professional Marketing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key cross-functional leader across Education, Creative, Brand, Product Marketing, Social, and Influencer teams.
  • Ensure consistent communication, alignment, and clarity across squads, acting as a hub for Pro Marketing execution.

Team Leadership
  • Manage day to day needs with a leadership mindset, providing direction and coaching to the Associate Manager.

must haves:
  • 5-7 years of experience in professional beauty, haircare, or a related pro-first category.
  • Strong understanding of the stylist and distributor ecosystem, with hands-on experience in professional marketing or education.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into programs, content, and tools that drive engagement and sell-through.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership presence; able to influence partners at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience owning KPIs, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
