What you will be doing:
As a Production associate, no one day is ever the same. Depending on where you live, you could be working in any one of our manufacturing plants making anything from bread to beverages, milk to groceries; providing any associate with different opportunities to learn and grow within the company. A production associate is on-the-go throughout their entire shift, packaging food & beverages, sanitizing & maintaining machines, and at times operating power equipment to help complete the daily operations of making quality food products. In Production, you are a team player, collaborating to complete the task at hand. All to keep our products moving, our shelves stocked, and America fed and healthy. Main responsibilities:
Our Union contract allows for a wide range of work mobility for our Production associates. As a result, you may be asked, as often as from one shift to the next, to function within multiple areas of the plant. Here is a short list of some, but not all, of the responsibilities that you may be asked to oversee on any given shift:
  • Operate and changeover Fluid and/or culture filler machines
  • Sanitation of facility and equipment
  • Operate plant equipment such as palletizing equipment, and powered industrial trucks, to complete daily operations

The targeted hourly pay rate range for this position is $26.38 - $32.97 per hour. Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

  • At least 6 months' experience working in production or manufacturing (such as machine/filler operation)
  • 2 - 3 years of experience preferred
