Location: Bartonville/ Peoria, IL
Starting Pay: $17.60/ hour
Pay Increases:
After 500 hours: $18.02/hr
After 1000 hours: $18.24/hr
After 1500 hours: $18.39/hr
Shift Differentials:
Second Shift: +$0.35/hr
Third Shift: +$0.60/hr
Incentives:
• Weekly Attendance Bonus: +$0.65/hr (No call-ins or tardiness!)
• Monthly Performance Bonus: Based on completing fire extinguisher checks and maintaining a damage-free record
Join our team as Security Patrolman!
Do you take pride in keeping people safe and property secure? Are you dependable, proactive, and ready to respond to emergencies with confidence? We're looking for team members who are alert, responsible, and committed to protecting our plant and employees. If so, we want YOU on our team!
What You'll Do:
  • Patrol the entire plant area, including inside buildings, offices, and parking lots.
    • Monitor all incoming and outgoing traffic at plant entrances.
    • Answer telephones and dispatch radio calls with clarity and accuracy.
    • Respond to emergency calls and administer first aid when needed.
    • Investigate and file reports on accidents, injuries, and other incidents.
    • Monitor and dispatch alarms from the alarm board and computer system.
    • Call Bartonville Police or Fire Department as needed.
    • Escort truckers, contractors, and visitors to designated areas.
    • Conduct safety training for contractors.
    • Handle check-in and check-out of truck deliveries.
    • Work closely with supervision, other departments, and ISWA personnel.
    • Complete fire extinguisher inspections and other miscellaneous safety tasks as directed.
What We're Looking For:
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in security or fire protection preferred
Certification: 40-Hour (IDPH) State Certified First Responder required
Skills & Qualities:
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to respond quickly in emergencies
  • Comfortable with basic computer systems and reporting tools
  • Assertive, dependable, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Team-oriented and safety-focused
