Agronomy Intern

Kanza Cooperative Association is seeking a motivated Agronomy Intern to gain hands-on experience in agronomy operations, crop inputs, customer service, and cooperative business. This paid summer internship gives students practical exposure to the day-to-day work of an agricultural cooperative while helping them build industry knowledge, workplace skills, and confidence in an agronomy career path.

Assist with daily agronomy operations and customer service activities.

Support agronomy staff with field activities, crop input services, seasonal projects, and daily customer needs.

Help load, unload, blend, and handle seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products.

Participate in agronomy-related training and professional development opportunities.

Learn safe product handling, inventory management, and operational procedures.

Work alongside experienced agronomy professionals to gain practical industry experience.

Currently pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Ag Business, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related field.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Previous agricultural, farm, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
