• Provide educational support to patients and their families to foster improvement outside of therapy sessions.
• Engage with inpatient cases to ensure seamless transition and continuity of therapeutic care.
• Document patient progress in line with state, federal, and organizational standards to maintain compliance.
• Commit to ongoing education and development to stay updated with advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) unless already ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment is a requirement.
