Job description

JOB TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Engineer      

JOB DESCRIPTION:                           

Designing, developing, and implementing engineering strategies related to maintaining plant, machinery, and facility performance levels by optimizing available resources.  Developing unique planner implementation practices for planned preventive maintenance and instrument calibrations to enable effective maintenance and adherence to standards, including selecting machine group for respective Unit/Block as per schedule and distribute uniformly; PPM / calibration planner preparation; following  good engineering practices during planned preventive activity, and at other times, uniformly across site by inspecting, creating systems, and having procedures and policies in place; and harmonizing engineering documents across site to implement cGMIP and Good Engineering Practices.   Optimizing breakdown maintenance to avoid recurrence and maintain continuous process operations by reviewing critical parts availability and PPM adherence to schedule, including ensuring critical spares of critical machines are maintained to reduce resolution time by predicting demand and reviewing availability; and strategizing to minimize the impact of breakdown on quality and production by reducing service time, learning from other sites and planning preventive maintenance and root cause analysis. Identifying new vendors and technologies and ensuring capability building of engineering team through training and experiential learning to improve machine performance, including monitoring adherence to unit training plans to ensure training needs of the engineering team across the site are met; analyzing training requirements of team and arranging internal and external training/ seminars to meet these needs for staying updated with contemporary techniques used in maintenance; and identifying and improving deficiencies through following up on internal audit points closure to verify GEP and GMP.  Optimizing operating cost by monitoring control and awareness in utilities and processes and ensuring better costing during brown field projects' execution. Creating and monitoring safety standards along with HSE to achieve high level of Safety at site to minimize reportable accidents/ incidences. Developing automation and resource conservation projects (electrical, thermal, energy saving & water saving) by evaluating its returns, scope and implementation feasibility to reduce cost and make the plant energy sustainable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:                      

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering. One year of experience in a Facilities Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Engineer, or related. Experience must include: Machine analysis and maintenance for manufacturing, production, and packaging lines, including boilers, chillers, vacuum pumps, and HVAC systems, to  ensure efficient and reliable operations;  system optimization and troubleshooting to ensure high-reliability system lines by diagnosing and resolving system failures; creating and executing comprehensive validation documents, including Area Qualification, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ); driving continuous improvements to reduce cycle times and increase production rates; refining automation programs and logic for solid dosage manufacturing machines to achieve higher accuracy, faster production, and minimal material waste.

SALARY: $91,000 - $105,000/year
