Job description

Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Materials Operations Manager. The expected annual salary range for this role is $129000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: Job Summary: The Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials & scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process. This role is responsible for the following core processes: - Scheduling production in the short term horizon based on the S&OE processes - Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting - Movement of materials through the facility - Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation - Manage logistics activities for the site Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant's operations by deploying lean material flow.

- Responsible for the administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards. - Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network - Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network ( schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan) - Responsible for escalation of material availability to the COE and Network teams - Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan - Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team. - Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments ( MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping - Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network - Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling This role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan Qualifications: Basic (required) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum five (5) years' combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing or operations environment Minimum two (2) years of manager of people experience Minimum two (2) year of ERP experience or working with ERP systems This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product APICS CPIM Certification is desirable Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate team members to drive for results All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
