As a Plant Engineering Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership
  • Implementing and ensuring use of a Reliability Framework and Asset Management System to drive continual improvements in safety, employee engagement and overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, human resources and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
  • Leading the plant engineering and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement in plant performance and productivity.
  • Implementing strategic direction on all facilities and maintenance activities for the Oak Hills plant.
  • Determining capital requirements necessary for the plant to maintain it's ability to meet customer requirements.
  • Supporting, managing and leading the maintenance team to meet overall plant and business objectives.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Six (6) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Associate's degree in an Industrial Maintenance-related technical field OR bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Microsoft Office

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Locations: Oak Hills, CA
