Job description

As the growth engine of this transformation, our Connected Solutions division delivers centralized production, cloud-based workflows, managed services, connectivity, and end-to-end technical media solutions for many of the world's leading streamers, sports leagues, broadcasters, and media organizations.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sales to drive growth across NEP’s most important Global Connected Solutions accounts and strategic opportunities. This highly visible role will focus on expanding key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating complex multi-region pursuits, and helping convert strategic opportunities into long-term, profitable partnerships.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role for a commercially driven professional who thrives in complex, consultative selling environments and enjoys collaborating across technical, operational, and business teams to deliver customer success.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Account Growth & Business Development

  • Lead strategic sales efforts for assigned Global Connected Solutions accounts and major opportunities.

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that expand NEP’s role from project-based vendor to trusted strategic partner.

  • Identify and convert new revenue opportunities within existing accounts and target prospects.

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across production, operations, engineering, technology, procurement, finance, and executive leadership.

  • Drive growth across Connected Solutions offerings, including centralized production, managed services, NOC/MCR services, connectivity, transmission, cloud and hybrid workflows, global hub access, and custom enterprise solutions.

  • Generate and qualify new opportunities while advancing them through the sales cycle to close.

Commercial Leadership

  • Serve as the commercial lead during pre-sale activities for assigned accounts and opportunities.

  • Translate client requirements into commercially viable, scalable solutions.

  • Ensure smooth transition of customer knowledge and expectations to Client Services following contract execution.

  • Remain engaged post-sale to support renewals, executive relationships, expansion opportunities, and commercial escalations.

  • Partner with regional sales teams, business leaders, and specialized service groups to assemble integrated solutions.

  • Simplify internal complexity and help customers experience NEP as one connected global partner.

Pipeline Management & Sales Excellence

  • Own pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and Salesforce discipline for assigned accounts.

  • Develop account plans, opportunity strategies, and pursuit plans for key opportunities.

  • Maintain visibility into opportunity status, risks, timelines, decision-makers, and revenue projections.

  • Participate in pipeline reviews and provide accurate forecast updates.

Deal Strategy, Renewals & Commercial Execution

  • Support major growth opportunities, renewals, and multi-year agreements.

  • Partner with Business Affairs and Commercial Finance on pricing, deal structure, contract strategy, and margin analysis.

  • Participate in negotiations with sophisticated global customers while maintaining commercial discipline.

  • Structure opportunities to ensure successful delivery by operations and technical teams.

Market Positioning & Sales Enablement

  • Contribute to solution packaging, value propositions, account plans, and client presentations.

  • Provide market feedback regarding customer needs, industry trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities.

  • Represent NEP at client meetings, facility tours, conferences, industry events, and executive engagements.

What You'll Need:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, strategic accounts, partnerships, or commercial leadership.

  • Experience selling or supporting complex enterprise solutions within media, technology, sports, entertainment, streaming, production, managed services, or related industries.

  • Proven success growing strategic accounts and developing expansion opportunities.

  • Experience supporting multi-year agreements, renewals, and complex commercial negotiations.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, account planning, forecasting, and CRM management.

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration.

  • Located in or willing to work from South Florida, New York, or Los Angeles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships within streamers, sports leagues, broadcasters, media companies, or technology platforms.

  • Experience selling managed services, enterprise production workflows, cloud-based media solutions, or global service offerings.

  • Understanding of live production, centralized production, cloud/hybrid workflows, connectivity, transmission, or technical media services.

  • Success working within a matrixed organization supporting global customers and distributed delivery teams.
