Job description

Private Equity backed company based in West Palm Beach, FL, is looking to hire a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager who can not only perform FP&A functions but can also understand the business inside and out and can make recommendations to the C-Suite Executives. This is a hands-on, roll-up your sleeves position that will have reporting functions to the private equity firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage comprehensive financial statements, reports, data books and dashboards that provide leadership and stakeholders with timely, accurate and relevant results of the business
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning process
  • Review monthly P&L and perform variance analysis
  • Prepare and review cash flow statements and forecasts
  • Provide guidance and direction on financial results, metrics, and planning
  • Monitor and report on areas of risk
  • Serve as a strategic partner to leadership team to make recommendations and to implement changes when needed
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis regarding potential new business opportunities, products, locations, and platforms
  • Establish and implement effective data governance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes, systems, and tools for greater efficiency and impact
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 7+ years of finance and accounting experience including variance analysis, budgets, forecasting, modeling, cash flow, P&L, and financial reporting
  • Power BI experience
  • Hands-on, roll-up your sleeves mentality
