Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Looking for a career opportunity?  Come join Wood as a Planner in Greely, CO.   Wood offers health benefits, 401k, vacation and more.  This is a Hybrid Role- Monday & Friday Remote, Tuesday-Thursday Onsite. Position is a 6 Month Contract. 

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

  • Provides engineering design, planning, and project schedules for various types of projects related to asset retirement activities in the DJ Basin, including P&A's, Wellbore Integrity / Mitigation, MIT, and other activities
  • Coordinates with the project teams to develop team schedules coverage schedules and multiple contractors 
  • Monitors and forecasts progress of activities and highlights problem areas and recommend remedial actions 
  • Evaluates critical paths in the project schedules and evaluate alternative schedule options to identify optimum project strategies or resolve problems before and during execution
  • Develops and implements plan versus actual progress curve
  • Works closely with Cost Control for expenditure forecasting and progress
Skills / Qualifications
  • BS preferred or equivalent experience 5-7 years
  • Good Communicator
  • COGGC Knowledge
  • Well Abandonment Knowledge
  • Pay is $35-$37/hr BOE
