Planner Interns are students or recent graduates who assist professional planners in fields such as urban planning, transportation, or event planning. They typically work under the supervision of experienced staff, helping with research, data analysis, report preparation, and community engagement activities. The internship provides hands-on experience and exposure to real-world planning projects, which helps interns build relevant skills and professional networks. These positions are often stepping stones to full-time planning roles after graduation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a planner intern?

To thrive as a Planner Intern, you need foundational knowledge in urban planning or a related field, often supported by ongoing coursework or a degree in planning, geography, or environmental studies.
