Join the King of Prussia, PA Enterprise Planning team! We are seeking a detail-oriented level 1 Production Planner to join our team. This is a business-critical role that engages cross-functionally with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, and other teams to facilitate the successful execution of our program requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing production schedules, and coordinating with colleagues for timely demand load and procurement process execution. You will also be responsible for the planning functions associated with items manufactured at the site and for collaborating closely with cross-functional team members to achieve operational excellence. The successful applicant for this role must be comfortable working in several systems including (but not limited to) SAP, Excel, and Tableau.
Your responsibilities will include:
Work with key stakeholders for assigned scope to ensure pre-requisite parts, materials, work instructions, etc are available prior to scheduled start in production
Support release process for "make" assembly requirements and firm plans in SAP as needed (works closely with Manufacturing Program Managers and Enterprise Planning Colleagues)
Routinely provide detailed status and support for assigned scope
Maintain data integrity within the SAP MRP system to ensure adherence to metric requirements
Take an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools
