Position Summary
Organization: New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science
Location: 1801 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104
An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have Work-Study Award
The Planetarium Associate supports the delivery ofplanetarium programs at the museum and contributes to public outreachinitiatives. This role involves both behind-the-scenes support and directpublic engagement. This position works a maximum of 15 hours per week (30 hoursper two-week pay period).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist staff and volunteers in preparing and facilitating planetarium programs.
Collaborate with curators and volunteers to present educational content to the public.
Deliver planetarium shows and presentations to museum visitors.
Support routine maintenance and cleaning of planetarium equipment and facilities
Participate in community outreach activities as needed.
