Job description

The Opportunity:
Now is your chance to help move America's refrigerated freight working in a transportation plan management role with Roehl Transport, a Forbes Magazine Best Mid-Sized Employer, and an ATA President's Award-winning carrier!
As a Planner on our Refrigerated Customer Service team, you ensure our markets have an optimal balance of available drivers and loads. You assign highly productive freight to drivers, minimize unpaid miles, and ensure on-time delivery in your plan manager role. Daily, you collaborate with our customer service team to ensure we have the right mix of freight for each day and that appointments are scheduled. Additionally, you work with our Fleet Managers to ensure drivers stay productive while providing service to our customers.
The Fit:
In this role, you put together a giant puzzle each day. You think several steps down the road to ensure that our drivers stay productive and our customers receive service. You work directly with customers, fleet managers, and your customer service team to develop business, find creative solutions and build strong relationships established on trust. Therefore, to be successful in planning and managing transportation in this role, you must possess the following skills:
