Job description

ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is actively hiring a PKI Administrator in support of our DCSA program based out of Quantico VA. Remote flexibility available!

Some Telework offered with a requirement to be onsite up to three (3) days a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA.

Position Description:

As a PKI Administrator you will serve in a pivotal role designed to enhance the security and efficiency of government operations through effective management of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) programs for unclassified and classified PKI systems. This position is integral to providing superior customer service to government clients through issuances of oversight and issuance of up to 3,000 tokens and certificates annually, ensuring that all PKI-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively. The role requires a deep understanding of both asymmetric and symmetric encryption key technologies, which are essential for supporting a robust PKI framework. As a PKI Administrator, you will be responsible for serving as a PKI Registration Authority, conducting face-to-face user validations, and supporting the development, maintenance, and management of PKI policies. Additionally, this position assists with the data destruction efforts for the agency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years of experience with the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) issuance of tokens and mail certificates for authentication, digital signature, and encryption capabilities. 
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management, Information Technology
  • Must meet 8570 certification requirements at the time of hire.  IAM Level I (e.g., CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC or Security+), or IAT II (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCMP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH or CCSP) and the DoD PKI training certificate

Required Skills:

Candidates should demonstrate a detailed knowledge the following: 

  • Demonstrated experience providing certificates and certificate maintenance activities to support the PKI Program in compliance with the DoD PKI Policy and Federal Common PKI Policy Framework to also include individual PKI Alternate Tokens (hardware-based) and server PKI certificates.
  • Providing PKI or Trusted Agent (TA) services for all classification levels supporting unclassified, secret, and top-secret systems.
  • Knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity Policies
  • Knowledge of DoD/NSA media destruction policies and regulations
  • Ability to advise customers on proper media destruction techniques and procedures
  • Ability to create and maintain compliance artifacts, metrics, and reporting

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite up to three (3) days a week.

If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection.

Must speak English well enough to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer both verbally and in written form.
