Typical work hours involve a variable schedule including 10, 11, and 12-hour shifts, generally spanning from early morning to evening (e.g., 9am-7pm, 9am-8pm, 8am-8pm, or 9am-9pm). The position requires leadership in coordinating pharmacy staff and managing inventory alongside the district manager, contributing to profitable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the pharmacy team by providing training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough prescription review and drug utilization checks
  • Driving prescription growth through clinical programs like immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
