PIV Support Clerk

Position Overview

Crossroads Talent Solutions is seeking dependable, detail-oriented PIV Support Clerks to provide on-site credentialing and security administrative support to USCIS Office of Security & Integrity (OSI) locations nationwide.

This position is responsible for assisting with Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card issuance, fingerprinting services, access control support, and general security administrative functions.

This role directly supports USCIS security operations and identity management programs under Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12).

Key Responsibilities

PIV Card Issuance & Credentialing Support

  • Issue, enroll, sponsor, revoke, recover, and destroy DHS PIV cards
  • Provide fingerprinting services for authorized DHS personnel
  • Process visitor badges and maintain visitor logs
  • Schedule appointments using DHS credentialing systems
  • Track card production, issuance, revocation, and destruction
  • Maintain and update access control systems and security databases
  • Perform daily DCF (DHS Credentialing Facility) opening and closing procedures
  • Monitor and track HSPD-12 inventory and supplies
  • Provide professional customer service in person, by phone, and via email

Security Administrative Support

  • Monitor and manage security-related email inboxes
  • Assist Regional Security Chiefs and Field Security Managers
  • Perform data entry and document scanning
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and administrative documents
  • Maintain security trackers and databases
  • Support audits and annual inventory reviews
  • Assist with OSI program improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship (Required)
  • Active and favorable DHS background investigation (Public Trust level)
  • Minimum 3 of the last 5 years residing in the United States (unless exempt under DHS guidelines)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with federal security policies
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
