The equipment operator will fulfill orders in the warehouse by utilizing equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. This position will be in the warehouse facility shipping across North America.

They should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and good organizational and communication skills.The equipment operator will help fulfill orders in the warehouse by utilizing warehousing equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. This position will be in the warehouse facility shipping across North America.

They should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and good organizational and communication skills. Individuals should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail and be willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidates must be able to work with all organizational levels, including fellow employees, customers, and management.

Role Responsibilites

  • Equipment & PIT Operation:Safely and efficientlyoperatea variety of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)—including forklifts, cherry pickers (order pickers), walkie stackers, double walkie riders, tuggers, and pallet jacks—to transport, stow, and replenish inventory across storage and staging locations.

  • Elevated Height Operations:Safelyoperatecherry pickers to pick and stow product at high-bay racking levels (elevated up to 25–40+ feet) while strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards and fall-protection procedures.

  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics:Perform core warehouse duties including loading/unloading trailers, labeling product, box making, andrelocatingstoweditems.

  • Technology & Inventory Tracking:UtilizeRF scanners, touchscreen interfaces, and warehouse technology to execute tasks andmaintainreal-time inventory tracking.

  • Safety & Workplace Standards:Maintaina clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all URBN safety protocols, pre-shift equipment inspections, and operational guidelines.

Shift

  • Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Role Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High school degree or GED a plus

  • Warehousing or manufacturing experience a plus

  • Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus

  • Able to operate department-specific technology to execute job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens

  • Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required

  • Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable and capable of working safely at heights of up to 40+ feet on elevated equipment while continuously wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a fall-protection body harness and lanyard.

  • Ability to stand and walk continuously across large facility spaces throughout the shift.

  • Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching for objects up to 50 lbs. of varying shapes and sizes.

  • Capability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or maneuver safely around machinery and multi-level racking systems.

  • Coordinated movement skills required to operate material handling equipment safely in narrow aisles and elevated environments.
