Job description

Job Overview: Pay Range: $51.40hr - $57.00hr Requirement/Must Have: 5 to 12 years piping and or mechanical engineering related field experience. Experience in B31.3 Process Piping construction/installation. Strong knowledge of interpretation of P&IDs, isometrics, and plot plans. Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and applicable codes. Ability to perform field walkdowns and identify discrepancies. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as required that may include but not limited to nightshift or split shift. Ability to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task. Responsibilities: Perform system and test package line walks to verify installation against isometric drawings, P&IDs, and plot plans. Identify and document punch items and deficiencies. Validate valve orientation, accessibility, operability, and proper installation of components. Confirm piping routing, slope, and tie-ins match design requirements. Support inspections ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards/codes. Verify flange alignment, integrity, bolt-up completeness, material traceability, and pipe cleanliness. Assist in nonconformance identification and reporting. Assist with test package preparation and verification, validating boundaries and system limits. Track hydrotest/pneumatic test readiness and flushing/cleaning activities. Provide technical support to construction teams and coordinate with superintendents and engineering. Assist in resolving field installation issues, design discrepancies, and constructability concerns. Generate and maintain walkdown reports, punch lists, and system readiness status. Participate in job briefs, toolbox talks, and safety meetings. Adhere to quality absolutes and project safety procedures. Nice to Have: Experience in LNG or similar environments. Experience with quality validation/inspections. Experience with pipe pressure testing and system turnover. Knowledge of flange management. Knowledge of valve installation requirements. Ability to work in small or confined spaces. Ability to lift. Ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
