What is a pipeline office?

A Pipeline Office is typically a centralized team or department within an organization responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of projects, tasks, or resources through various stages of a process pipeline. This office ensures that projects are prioritized, tracked, and aligned with organizational goals. In industries like oil and gas, a Pipeline Office may specifically manage the operations, maintenance, and safety of physical pipeline infrastructure. The role often involves coordination between departments, reporting on progress, and optimizing processes for efficiency.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a pipeline office professional?

To thrive as a Pipeline Office professional, you need strong project coordination abilities, knowledge of pipeline operations, and often a background in engineering or business administration. Familiarity with project management software, pipeline mapping tools (such as GIS), and compliance documentation systems is typically required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for managing documentation and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration. These skills ensure efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and smooth execution of pipeline projects.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in a pipeline office, and how can they be addressed?

Sales Account Executive

Vivant

Farmers Branch, TX โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 3 days ago

Job description

Verticals: Restaurants, Healthcare, & Automotive DealershipsAbout Vivant

Vivant eliminates internet, phone, and WiFi outages—guaranteed. In our target industries, downtime is a revenue killer. When the network goes down:

  • Restaurants lose POS functionality and third-party delivery orders.
  • Healthcare clinics lose access to EHRs, halting patient care and billing.
  • Dealerships lose the ability to run credit, submit F&I paperwork, or close deals.

Vivant provides the "always-on" infrastructure that ensures these businesses never stop moving. We are building an elite, high-performance sales team in our DFW office to dominate these markets.

The Role

As a Sales Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from our DFW office. This is a high-volume prospecting role built for a relentless hunter who lives on the phone. You'll spend the majority of your day generating your own pipeline—dialing, emailing, and messaging prospects—then driving those opportunities through a fast-paced sales cycle to close.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Generation (Primary Focus): Build your own pipeline daily through aggressive cold calling, strategic email campaigns, and targeted LinkedIn outreach.
  • Full Cycle Sales: Own the entire process from first contact to signed contract—no hand-offs, no account management support.
  • Consultative Discovery: Conduct phone and video discovery calls to quantify the revenue impact of network downtime and position Vivant as the solution.
  • Pipeline Discipline: Manage high activity and volume in CRM, tracking every touchpoint through short, aggressive sales cycles.

Requirements

  • Experienced: 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, specifically selling into Restaurants, Healthcare, or Automotive Dealerships (A MUST).
  • The Ultimate Hunter: You thrive on cold calling. You're energized by high-volume outreach, resilient through rejection, and obsessed with filling your own pipeline.
  • Office-Centric: You thrive in a collaborative, competitive office culture and prefer the energy of a local team over working from home.
  • Top Performer: You have a documented history of hitting or exceeding quotas in a high-activity, self-generated pipeline environment.

Benefits

Compensation & Growth
  • Competitive base salary (based on experience)
  • Uncapped commissions and performance bonuses
  • Clear path to career advancement and leadership opportunities
  • Work in a fast-growing, performance-driven environment
Why Join Vivant?
  • High-impact role with real earning potential
  • Opportunities to grow as the company scales
  • Leadership opportunities for top performers
