Become a Key Player as an Inspector Senior

You will perform semi-complex quality inspections that ensure parts meet specifications and keep production on schedule. You will collaborate with the inspection team, source inspectors, and suppliers to resolve nonconformances and support customer return investigations. This is an onsite role on 2nd Shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Maintain accurate acceptance/rejection records and certification systems per specifications
  • Inspect parts, tools, and instruments to identify defects and prepare required documentation
  • Perform semi-complex inspections on machined parts using measuring instruments and adapt setups for samples, forgings, and castings
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to assess acceptability and apply dimension/tolerance conversions
  • Conduct calibration on measuring and test equipment and document calibration intervals
  • Perform nondestructive testing, including daily checks and equipment setup, while maintaining safety and a FOD-free work area
  • Investigate customer return failures and assist source inspectors, documenting and evaluating results per approved procedures
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Experience with First Article inspection AS9102 (Aerospace)
  • Experience with mechanical inspection and GD&T knowledge
  • Experience reviewing supplier certificates (material certs, special process certs, test reports)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer specifications, and internal drawings/procedures
  • Working knowledge of shop mathematics, including trigonometry
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use personal hand tools as required
  • Must comply with safety requirements including certified safety shoes on day one and FAA drug screen; subject to random drug testing
