We are seeking a Copper Pipefitter to join our growing team. This position focuses on installing refrigeration piping systems in supermarket and convenience store environments. Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Install, measure, cut, fit, and braze copper piping for refrigeration systems.
• Understand refrigerant flow and piping layouts to ensure proper system operation.
• Install pipe insulation and related materials as required.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules.
• Safely operate hand and power tools used in pipefitting and brazing.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications
• Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
• Previous experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration piping, pipefitting, or a related trade is preferred.
• Journeyman Pipefitter or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with copper pipe installation and brazing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred and required after hire if not currently held.
• Valid Class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of the position, including climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
