Job description

Our company is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems used for water, steam, air, and other fluids. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with industrial or commercial piping systems.Traveling is required
Our company specializes in boiler and boiler-related equipment sales, service, and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. Below is a list of the duties, responsibilities, and required qualifications necessary to be considered for employment.
Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements
  2. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
  3. Install and assemble piping systems, valves, fittings, and fixtures
  4. Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and proper operation
  5. Repair and maintain existing piping systems and equipment
  6. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
  7. Collaborate with welders, boilermakers, and other trades on job sites
  8. Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
  9. Perform other duties as assigned
  10. Traveling is required

Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. 2-3 years of relevant experience
  3. Valid driver's license required
  4. Proven experience as a pipefitter in industrial, commercial, or construction settings
