Pipefitter labourers are skilled tradespeople who assist pipefitters in installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used for heating, cooling, steam, water, and industrial processes. They work with a variety of materials, such as metal and plastic pipes, and use specialized tools to measure, cut, thread, and join pipes. Their duties also include preparing worksites, carrying materials, supporting pipefitters during installations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Pipefitter labourers play a crucial role in construction and maintenance projects in industries like manufacturing, energy, and building services.
