  • System Installation: Assembling and installing various pipe sections and fittings using methods like welding, brazing, soldering, and threading.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs to plan system layouts and determine material needs.
  • Fabrication: Measuring, cutting, and bending pipes to exact specifications using tools like cutting torches, pipe threaders, and saws.
  • Testing & Inspection: Performing hydrostatic and pressure tests to detect leaks and ensure system integrity.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning systems, including replacing worn valves, hangers, and instruments.
  • Mentorship: Supervising and training apprentice pipefitters and helpers on the job site
