Job Summary

The Pipe Yard Helper assists with daily operations in the pipe yard, including handling, organizing, and maintaining pipe inventory. This role supports yard staff by ensuring materials are safely loaded, unloaded, inspected, and stored while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in loading and unloading pipes using forklifts, cranes, or manual handling (as directed)

  • Organize, stack, and band pipes according to size, type, and job requirements

  • Inspect pipes for damage, defects, or corrosion and report issues to supervisors

  • Prepare pipes for shipment or delivery

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pipe yard

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

  • Assist with inventory counts and material tracking

  • Support yard personnel and operators as needed

  • Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties

Qualifications & Requirements
