Job description

Responsibilities

Mainly, Cutting and Threading pipe. Cleaning yard and helping lift operators

Will also include moving material (pipe) with lifts / forklifts, and/or pulling orders, boxing, packing or crating parts for shipment. Labeling and preparing shipping documents, unloading, or loading trucks (physically demanding job - needs to be able to lift to 50 lbs. consistently), verifying freight and shipping documents, verifying quantities, and other general warehouse / order pulling / shipping and receiving duties.

Job Requirements

You must be dependable, responsible, and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance.


Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • Experience operating a forklift “will train right person”.
  • Pipe Yard experience (Experience handling Pipe & all other Pipe Production) not a must
  • Basic math/counting skills
  • •Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Good, clear visual ability
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Flexibility regarding hours and scheduling
  • Experience with multiple forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, cherry-picker, clamp, and reach) preferred
  • Experience in both loading/unloading as well as in placing product in warehouse racks preferred
  • Experience with pipe will train
  • Computer skills a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
